Austrian projects
According to this section, Austrian films, series and episodes are those that meet the requirements for obtaining a certificate as an Austrian film or Austrian series.
Films, series & episodes
Applicants for funding have to demonstrate this fact in the course of the application process, by submitting suitable documents and in the course of accounting, by submitting the certificate as an Austrian film or Austrian series, issued by the Association of the film and music industry.
In order to qualify for funding, Austrian films, series and episodes must meet at least the following criteria and achieve at least the following number of points. Only full points are awarded.
The information "from Austria, another EEA state or another member state of the Council of Europe" refers to the nationality of the natural person or their place of residence and center of life. A place of residence is where life interests are at least partially bundled.
- feature film/fictional series: 45
- animated feature film/animated series fictional: 40
- documentary/documentary series (also animated): 30

Austrian projects should be intended for commercial exploitation and must demonstrate a minimum participation of one or more media service providers in the financing. They must not be intended for the first theatrical exploitation.
